The best-known case is Pitts v. Bishop Gold Group LLC, a TCPA class action filed in March 2024 in the Northern District of Florida. It alleged Bishop Gold Group violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by using telephone equipment in a way that breached the law.

Specifically, it claimed the company sent marketing text messages to people after they opted out, violating the TCPA and Florida Telephone Solicitation Act. The company denied wrongdoing and agreed to a $2 million settlement, which received preliminary court approval on August 7, 2025.

Separately, Bishop Gold also faced a 2025 trademark suit from Birch Gold Group and older labor disputes in California courts.
